Thoughtful Gardner will be hosting a candle pouring workshop at Mocha Lisa's Caffe and Books, in Clifton Park NY. This is a unique space that features local artisans, a wide selection of books as well as coffee and treats from their cafe.
As America celebrates its 250th year as a nation, this special workshop will feature a beautifully crafted wooden vessel shaped like New York State. Participants will create their own candle by pouring wax into these unique handcrafted bowls, each designed with four wicks for a stunning finished piece.
You will create a custom scent from our library of fragrance oils. The fragrance oils that will be available will be seasonal and change from class to class. We will walk you through how to pour your candle and you will leave with a memorable candle that you yourself chose, scented and poured.
While your candle cools, enjoy a drink or snack from Mocha Lisa's menu of items and learn a little history of our country with some trivia designed around this special anniversary celebration. Pouring candles while celebrating 250 years of American history, freedom, creativity, and community.
Enjoy burning this candle or as a centerpiece for your home. Once all the wax is used up, simply clean out the extra wax and use the vessel!
Each ticket includes all the supplies needed to make one Wooden NY state candle.

Mocha Lisa's is a cafe and has food and beverage options for purchase, it is located in Clifton Country Mall! We will have our own private room for this event.
